Rioja Wine Gifts

Rioja is a wine region in Spain and is most likely the most famous of all Spains wine regions. Located in Northern Spain, the region covers 63,000 hectares and consists of over 16000 vineyards. Rioja is famed for its full bodied red wines, although white (blanco) wines are also produced. Tempranillo is the main grape in most of the Rioja wines which are then aged in oak to produce a full bodied yet smooth flavour. Tempranillo, Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva are the main wines produced.
