Pouilly Fume Wine Gifts

Pouilly-Fume is an appellation d'origine controlee (AOC) for wine produced around Pouilly-sur-Loire, in the Loire Valley of France. Like many of the French wine regions, smaller areas are famed for producing a single wine type and this favoured white wine is produced from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. A good Pouilly Fume would have aromas of grapefruit and are produced to be drink young, within 2-3 years unlike other wine types that tend to age extremly well.
