Sparkling is carbonated and is made from black and white grapes. Champagne and Prosecco are examples of Sparkling Wine. Dessert Wines are much sweeter and are typically enjoyed after a meal. Fortified wines are those such as Port and Sherry. These are created when spirits such as Brandy are added during the fermentation process.
