Cheval Des Andes |

|
Salmon colored borders, Small, ripe berries and hints of oak. Elegant tannins, delicate and nice balanced, with a certain freshness due to acidity. Aged in French oak, 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Malbec. Cheval de los Andes was originally founded by the famous French Champagne house Moet and Chandon (now part of the LVMH group). In the 1950’s they perceived that Argentina had a great potential to produce high quality wines. In 1960, Chandon Argentina was founded, being the first site of Moet y Chandon outside of France. A couple of years later, the brand Terrazas de los Andes was founded, to respond to a more international market. The winemakers are Pierre Lurton & Roberto de la Mota. |
